A Comforting Bowl of Creamy Clam Chowder

- 2 cups of chopped fresh clams
- 4 slices of bacon diced
- 1 cup of diced potatoes
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 2 cups of chicken or seafood stock
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy.
