A Comforting Bowl of Creamy Clam Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chopped fresh clams
  • 4 slices of bacon diced
  • 1 cup of diced potatoes
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of chicken or seafood stock
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy.
  • Add the onions and garlic to the pot, stirring for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the diced potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the stock and add thyme, allowing the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes.
