  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut into heart shapes.
  • Place half of the hearts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spoon a small amount of Nutella onto the center of each heart.
  • Wet the edges with the beaten egg, then top with another heart shape.
  • Crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.
  • Brush the tops with remaining beaten egg for a shiny finish.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
