Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the bread by cutting a large pocket into the loaf.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
Add the steak to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and medium-rare, then remove from the pan.
In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and opaque.
In a bowl, combine the cooked steak and shrimp with oregano, red pepper flakes, and shredded cheese.
Stuff the bread pocket with the steak-shrimp mixture and place it on a baking sheet.
Brush the outside of the loaf with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the bread is golden and crispy.
Let the bread cool slightly before slicing and serving.
