Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
In a large bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour half of the pancake batter into it.
Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the batter.
Pour the remaining batter over the sausage.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let the bake cool for a few minutes before slicing.
